The Healing Journey
The Healing Journey is a two-hour documentary created for the Shekhinah Center, a non-profit breat cancer help center. The independent film profiles women with and at-risk for breast cancer, and captures their unique road map to healing. It reflects how women work through their physical and emotional transformations to heal themselves. For eight women, their cancer began a self discovery process. Through focus group sessions, candid interviews, contemplative practices, creative arts, music therapy, and meditation & visualization each healing tool segues deeper into the process and synthesis of self-empowerment to create a renewed quality of life for each woman.
